The Buffalo Bison will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Clay County Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Buffalo focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Buffalo didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Tolsia, but they still walked away with a 43-37 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Buffalo.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Buffalo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Camryn Samples, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Samples pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Anna Boggess, who scored nine points along with 16 rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Clay County, who are still winless after their seventh matchup. They took a 42-23 bruising from Charleston Catholic last Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Clay County has scored all season.
Buffalo's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Clay County, they bumped their record down to 0-7 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.
Buffalo beat Clay County 54-45 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Does Buffalo have another victory up their sleeve, or will Clay County turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
