Einstein is 0-8 against Seneca Valley since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Einstein Titans will head out on the road to take on the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles at 7:15 p.m. Einstein is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Einstein pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 64-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Blair.
Meanwhile, Seneca Valley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 68-59 to Wootton. That's two games in a row now that Seneca Valley has lost by exactly nine points.
Seneca Valley's defeat came about despite a quality game from Jaysen Moise, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. That was a full 33.9% of Seneca Valley's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Bryan Sowell was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
Einstein has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Seneca Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
Einstein came up short against Seneca Valley in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 48-38. Can Einstein avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
