The Soaring Eagle walked away with a 37-30 victory over the Roy Royals for which the team can thank Kuath, who posted four points in addition to 15 rebounds and three blocks. She is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season.
Several Royals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Quincy Hoover, who scored five points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jazzi Prieto, who put up nine points and four steals.
The win got Juan Diego Catholic back to even at 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Juan Diego Catholic will take on Juab at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Roy, they will face off against Syracuse at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
