Butler is 9-1 against Greenville since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Greenville suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 81-20 loss at the hands of Tippecanoe. Greenville was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-18.
Greenville's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jack Chick, who scored six points, and Carson Good who scored no points.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Greenville struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They are winless (0-3) when they just don't pass the ball.
This is the second loss in a row for Butler and nudges their season record down to 6-4. As for Greenville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Butler strolled past Greenville in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a score of 52-33. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Greenville's Drew Hamilton, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Butler still be able to contain him? There's only one way to find out.
