North Posey was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fifth in Pocket. Earlier in the week, the Vikings defeated Forest Park 50-10.
Gibson Southern added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Heritage Hills, 50-26. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Titans.
Nick Sellers threw for 301 yards and 4 touchdowns. He went 16-22 with 0 interception.
Griffin Scheller was the best receiver in the league this week as Gibson Southern topped the Patriots. Scheller tallied 5 receptions for 169 yards. Zack Floyd helped Gibson Southern's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 61 yards.
Nick Hart's team's Sellers and Scheller have formed a dream team this season, leading Pocket in both passing and receiving yards. Sellers has thrown for 1,282 yards this season, while Scheller, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 12 catches for 409 yards. Tell City's Elliott Brown leads the league in rushing yards with 1,048.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Pike Central takes on the Titans. As it stands, the Chargers are in seventh, while Gibson Southern is in first.
