First Coast is a perfect 8-0 against Riverside since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Buccaneers will look to defend their home field against the Generals at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Thursday, First Coast came up short against Sandalwood and fell 6-2.

First Coast saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lexi Gates, who went 3-for-4 with one run. Adilyn Crawford also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Meanwhile, while it was Riverside who put the first runs on the board on Tuesday, it was Orange Park who put up more. The Generals wound up with the same score they had in their last game (18-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

First Coast's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

First Coast got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Riverside by a conclusive 15-0 score. Do the Buccaneers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Generals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
