This season hasn't been kind to The Southern Huntingdon County Rockets, who are still winless after their ninth matchup. They were outmatched by Juniata Valley on the road and fell 41-0. Southern Huntingdon County was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Juniata Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.
Cohen Snyder threw for 107 yards on six of 22 attempts. Drew Flood was his top target, rushing for 18 yards.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Juniata Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andrew Clarke, who rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. Luke Uplinger was in the mix as well, providing Juniata Valley with two touchdowns.
Southern Huntingdon County's defeat was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9. As for Juniata Valley, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Huntingdon County will take on Meyersdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Juniata Valley, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Windber at 7:00 p.m.
