Central Texas Christian fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took their game on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 49-16 victory over New Braunfels Christian Academy.
It was another big night for Tabor Tyson, who rushed for 213 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry. Tyson hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for nine straight games. Loyal Morris was another key contributor, rushing for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Sacred Heart put another one in the bag two weeks ago to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by New Braunfels Christian Academy at home to the tune of 45-17. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-3.

Haas was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 67 yards. Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's matchup: Central Texas Christian has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 293.9 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Sacred Heart struggles in that department as they've been averaging 174 per game. It's looking like Friday's match might have some serious battles in the trenches.
Central Texas Christian couldn't quite finish off Sacred Heart in their previous matchup back in November of 2022 and fell 23-21. Will Central Texas Christian have more luck at home instead of on the road?
