Gray's Creek lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Lumberton, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's match. The Bears put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 14-7 victory on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Bears, who have now won four contests in a row.
Mason Barnes made a big impact while hitting and pitching. South View never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Purnell Swett on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Rams. The game was the first time the Tigers have beaten the Rams on their field since March 18, 2022.
