The Norman Tigers posted their closest victory yet this season on Friday. They skirted past Norman North 51-49. For Norman, this counts as revenge for the 60-50 loss Norman North walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Leading Norman to victory were Keeley Parks and Ady Hybl. Parks scored 16 points along with seven steals and six rebounds, while Hybl scored 18 points along with five assists and two steals. Parks is absolutely dominating the point category: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Destinee Deer, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Norman is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Norman North, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Norman will be playing at home against Westmoore at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norman North, they will head out on the road to challenge Moore at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
