The Christian Brothers Academy Brothers and the Carmel Rams squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the Christian Brothers Academy Brothers had to settle for second. They fell 35-27 to the Rams. Christian Brothers Academy's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
Although Christian Brothers Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Aidan Good and Aiden Guzi.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carmel to victory, but perhaps none more so than Christian Nunez, who rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Leo Keesler-venables, who rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown.
Christian Brothers Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Carmel, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.
Christian Brothers Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Carmel will be staying on the road on Sunday to face off against Christian Brothers Academy at 3:00 p.m. on December 3rd. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Christian Brothers Academy: 11, Carmel: 16.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
