In other batting news, Tayler Dooley was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Nevaeh Sosa was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
Garden Grove was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Compton Early College pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.3 runs over those games. As for Garden Grove, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.
