Ellington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Potosi Trojans, falling 27-4. On the bright side, the four- run performance marked the Whippets' highest-scoring game to date.

Ellington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Potosi, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ellington will face off against Viburnum at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Potosi, they will head out to take on Ste. Genevieve at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
