Lake Country Lutheran is a perfect 10-0 against St. John's Northwestern Military Academy since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Lightning will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lancers at 4:30 p.m. St. John's Northwestern Military Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lake Country Lutheran, who comes in off a win.

Lake Country Lutheran's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Kenosha Christian Life with a sharp 10-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lightning.

Jack Poellot was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Poellot was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Jackson Menzel was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Preston Manthei was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Lake Country Lutheran always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kenosha Christian Life only posted an OBP of .118.

Meanwhile, St. John's Northwestern Military Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Dominican, falling 17-9.

St. John's Northwestern Military Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lake Country Lutheran, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Lake Country Lutheran beat St. John's Northwestern Military Academy 6-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Do the Lightning have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lancers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
