Dewar is a perfect 6-0 against Stuart since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Dewar will challenge Stuart at 4:30 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated (Dewar has 16 wins , while Stuart has six).

Dewar's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Savanna. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won 13 games by six runs or more so far this season.

P. Kilhoffer made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Kilhoffer was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

In other batting news, AIDEN TOMLINSON was a standout: he scored two runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted over his last nine contests. Another player making a difference was S. Yaeger, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Dewar was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in four consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Stuart made easy work of Wetumka on Thursday and carried off a 10-0 victory. Considering the Hornets have won five games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Dewar's win was their 32nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-0. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Stuart, their record is now 6-0.

Dewar took their win against Stuart when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 9-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dewar since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
