Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Michael the Archangel to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anjalia Bryant , who scored 29 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 steals. The game was Bryant 's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Janaye Martinez, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 20 rebounds.
Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot's loss came despite strong showings from Charlie Potter and Sadie Redlich. Potter scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds, while Redlich scored 2 points along with 7 rebounds.
St. Michael the Archangel's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
St. Michael the Archangel will be playing at home against Wakefield Country Day at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
