In what's become a running theme this season, the Xavier College Prep Gators gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 71-42 victory over Perry. The win was nothing new for Xavier College Prep as they're now sitting on six straight.
It was another big night for Dominique Nesland, who scored 29 points along with five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Irene (Noelle) Guiamatsia was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Xavier College Prep's victory was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 41.79 points. As for Perry, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Xavier College Prep will challenge Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Hamilton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten last Thursday. Perry's road trip will continue as they head out to face Chandler at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th.
