Eaglecrest came into Friday's game looking for another win against Fort Collins, but Jack McKeon wouldn't allow it. The Lambkins came out on top against the Raptors by a score of 25-13 on Friday for which the team can thank McKeon, who rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 145 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Fort Collins didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kaden Souders and Teagan Davis.

Fort Collins has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 13 points this season. As for Eaglecrest, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Fort Collins has already played their next match, a 41-7 victory against Poudre on the 12th. As for Eaglecrest, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 27-0 win against Chatfield on the 11th.
