After both having extra time off, the Benton Cardinals and the St. Michael the Archangel Guardians will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Benton will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
Last Thursday, Benton was able to grind out a solid victory over Barstow, taking the game 57-49.
Meanwhile, St. Michael the Archangel pushed their score all the way to 68 last Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 72-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central.
Benton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for St. Michael the Archangel, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 9-4.
