It was a good run, but Hamilton unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 72-65 to the Brookfield Central Lancers. The Chargers were probably out for revenge after losing 78-63 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hamilton's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Brookfield Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will finish 2024 at home by hosting Sheboygan North at 9:15 p.m. on December 26th. As for Brookfield Central, they will be home for the holidays to greet Brookfield East at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Brookfield East knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Brookfield Central likes a good challenge.
