The LaCrosse Leopards can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game on Monday. They breezed by Lincoln at home to the tune of 73-43. The win was familiar territory for LaCrosse who now have seven in a row.
LaCrosse's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lee Holopirek, who went 7 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points and 5 assists. Holopirek has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Morgan, who scored 17 points along with eight assists and six steals.
LaCrosse pushed their record up to 12-2 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Lincoln, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6.
LaCrosse won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Chase at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. LaCrosse is facing Chase at the right time seeing as Chase is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Lincoln, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rock Hills on Friday.
