Clovis East lost against Modesto Christian back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Clovis East Timberwolves fell 69-57 to the Modesto Christian Crusaders. The Timberwolves' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Modesto Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gavin Sykes led the charge by going 8 for 18 on his way to 23 points and five rebounds. Myles Jones was another key player, going 6 of 7 on his way to 21 points and five assists.

Clovis East's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Modesto Christian, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.
