Chaney lost against Harding back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Chaney Cowboys took a 50-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harding Raiders. The Cowboys' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Chaney lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Janiah Eiland, who posted six points and 13 boards. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Brown, who earned 14 points and eight rebounds.

Trinity Taylor continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Harding, almost dropping a double-double on 23 points and nine boards. Taylor is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Akeelha Barnes was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Chaney's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Harding, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.
