Fort Walton Beach has struggled against Choctawhatchee recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Choctawhatchee had a senior duo take command as Jesse Winslette threw for 133 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes and Cole Tabb rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown.
Fort Walton Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Choctawhatchee, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Fort Walton Beach will head out on the road to face off against Crestview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Crestview is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Choctawhatchee will take on Mosley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
