The White Plains Tigers will square off against the Arlington Admirals at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as White Plains comes in on 13 and Arlington on four.
White Plains proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by seven) and last Sunday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Eastchester 2-1.

Alexis Tighe spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, White Plains saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Noelle Quinones, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double. That's the most hits Quinones has posted since back in April.
Meanwhile, Arlington got themselves on the board against Mamaroneck on Sunday, but Mamaroneck never followed suit. They walked away with a 4-0 win over the Tigers.
The result came thanks to Sam Harris's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up nine Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Julieanna Lopez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run. Chloe Adel also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Arlington hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive games.
White Plains' victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Arlington, their victory bumped their record up to 12-8.
White Plains was able to grind out a solid win over Arlington when the teams last played back in April, winning 15-12. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Admirals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
