North Medford faced McMinnville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Black Tornado were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Grizzlies. The result was nothing new for the Black Tornado, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was North Medford's sixth in a row) raised their record to 23-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for McMinnville, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-8.

As of now, neither North Medford nor the Grizzlies have any future games scheduled.
