The West Morris Central Wolfpack will take on the Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Bridgewater-Raritan took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on West Morris Central, who comes in off a win.
West Morris Central came out on top against Lenape Valley on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run third inning. The Wolfpack were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Patriots. The Wolfpack not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st (when they won 10-0).

West Morris Central got a great performance from Luke Jacobsen as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Jacobsen has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jake Novello, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Cole Wormann was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
West Morris Central lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Bridgewater-Raritan and Egg Harbor Township have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Saturday. The Panthers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 8-6.
Kevin Kelly and JR Rosado did some serious damage despite the final result: Kelly went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI, while Rosado went 3-for-4 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Matthew Lehberger, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
West Morris Central is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bridgewater-Raritan, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
West Morris Central was able to grind out a solid win over Bridgewater-Raritan when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 11-7. Will the Wolfpack repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
