Highlands has not lost a match since December 11, 2023, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. Neither they nor San Juan could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
Meanwhile, Summerville came tearing into Thursday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 goals) and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand Sonora a 1-0 shutout. Summerville's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last eight contests.
With that draw, Highlands' record moves to 10-3-2. As for Summerville, they pushed their record up to 15-3-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
