It was another big night for Diore Hubbard, who rushed for 193 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 56 receiving yards. Hubbard has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last nine times he's played. On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Lincoln's defensive line and their four sacks. In that department, Derek Bradley was the leader with two sacks.
Meanwhile, Upper Arlington entered their tilt with Pickerington Central with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Upper Arlington snuck past Pickerington Central with a 23-17 win on Friday.
Lincoln has yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 12-0 record. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-10 Reynoldsburg and 1-10 Reynoldsburg (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 44.5% over those games). As for Upper Arlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Lincoln against Upper Arlington in their previous meeting back in September of 2014 as the team secured a 41-14 win. Will Lincoln repeat their success, or does Upper Arlington have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
