The Alma Cardinals can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They blew past Loomis 49-27. Winning may never get old, but Alma sure is getting used to it with their 12th in a row.
Alma's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addison Siebels led the charge by scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Kamryn Scott was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five steals.
Several Wolves players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zeigh Booe, who scored ten points.
Alma's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1. As for Loomis, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.
Alma on the road again on Monday and play against Cambridge at 6:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Hopefully Cambridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Saturday. As for Loomis, they will head out on the road to square off against Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last nine games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
