Softball Recap: Bellaire's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Bellaire had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Buckeye Trail Warriors on Tuesday as they made off with a 12-1 victory. Considering the Big Reds' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Bellaire got a massive performance out of Addison Kovach, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Emilee Menendez, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Bellaire always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April.

Bellaire's win bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Buckeye Trail, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

As of now, neither Bellaire nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
