The Conemaugh Township Indians stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. Everything went their way against Northern Cambria as Conemaugh Township made off with a 57-32 victory. Winning may never get old, but Conemaugh Township sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Conemaugh Township's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brennan Lohr led the charge by scoring 17 points along with six assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lohr has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jon Updyke, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and seven assists.
Conemaugh Township pushed their record up to 13-2 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home. As for Northern Cambria, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
Conemaugh Township will head out on the road to challenge Conemaugh Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Conemaugh Valley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,246 points over their last 17 matches. As for Northern Cambria, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Blacklick Valley at 7:15 p.m.
