There's no place like home for the Westwood Christian Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Monday. They managed a 79-73 victory over Miami Christian on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Westwood Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ethan Taylor, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Taylor has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jermaine Agyeman, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds.
Westwood Christian pushed their record up to 13-5 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points per game. As for Miami Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westwood Christian will challenge Reagan at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Miami Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Westminster Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
