Craig Yost Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, North Gem got the W thanks in part to Craig Yost playing the best football he has all season. Yost rushed for 249 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 108 or more in the last eight games he's played dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Watersprings, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Yost. Back in September (the last time Yost saw the ), he rushed for 188 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries.

Rusty Hatch Has Career-Day on Friday
North Gem was led to victory by Rusty Hatch, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Hatch rushed for 200 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.
Hatch must have Watersprings's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Hatch last faced the back in September, he rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 33 yards and a touchdown.

Hayden Frandsen Makes It Three for North Gem
Another North Gem player making an appearance on this list is Hayden Frandsen. He wasn't messing around on Friday, picking up two sacks and making 13 total tackles. The match was his fifth straight with five or more total tackles dating back to last season. He is becoming a predictor of North Gem's success: when he posts at least one sack the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Ryan Demcowicsz Makes It Two for Watersprings
Keeping Nelson company is Ryan Demcowicsz, a fellow Watersprings player. He picked up 87 receiving yards and a touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 55 yards.
