Southside entered their tilt with Douglas on Saturday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Douglas Eagles get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by three goals or more this season.

Southside's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Douglas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Coming up, Southside will challenge Christian Brothers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Douglas, they will face off against Albertville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Douglas has given up an average of 2.6 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
