Berkley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Madi Bonsall, who scored 12 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hailey Kirkwood, who scored nine points along with five steals.
Farmington dropped their record down to 1-15 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.8 points per game. As for Berkley, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.
Farmington will head out on the road to square off against Southfield Arts & Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southfield Arts & Tech presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Farmington in Michigan (Southfield Arts & Tech is ranked 227th, while Farmington is ranked 582nd). As for Berkley, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Shrine Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. Shrine Catholic has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
