The Goose Creek Gators won the last time they faced the West Ashley Wildcats, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Goose Creek simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat West Ashley 56-25 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Goose Creek.
Goose Creek found their leader in underclassman Demi Gray, who scored 14 points along with 6 steals. Another player making a difference was Celeste Griffen, who scored 8 points along with 5 steals.
Despite the loss, West Ashley still got an impressive performance from Serenity Corley, who scored 2 points.
Goose Creek's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for West Ashley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Goose Creek will head out on the road to face off against Ashley Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Ashley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Carolina Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
