The Kohler Blue Bombers will head out on the road to take on the Cedar Grove-Belgium Rockets at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Kohler knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 21 matchups -- so hopefully Cedar Grove-Belgium likes a good challenge.
In what's become a running theme this season, Kohler gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They breezed by Assumption on the road to the tune of 73-40. Given Kohler's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Assumption is ranked 279th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Cedar Grove-Belgium came up short against Living Word Lutheran on Saturday and fell 62-50. Cedar Grove-Belgium has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kohler pushed their record up to 21-0 with that victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Cedar Grove-Belgium, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14.
Kohler took their victory against Cedar Grove-Belgium in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 89-69. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kohler since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
