The StoneBridge Cavaliers won the last time they faced the Isle of Wight Academy Chargers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. StoneBridge breezed by Isle of Wight Academy at home to the tune of 66-32. The win made it back-to-back wins for StoneBridge.
It was another big night for Jeremy Wells, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and five steals. Douglas Marshall was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds.
The victory got StoneBridge back to even at 10-10. As for Isle of Wight Academy, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12.
StoneBridge will square off against Gateway Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Isle of Wight Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Brunswick Academy at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th. Brunswick Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 523 points over their last seven matchups.
