The Hancock Panthers lost against the Turkeyfoot Valley Area Rams back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Hancock had to suffer through a rough 58-20 loss at the hands of Turkeyfoot Valley Area. Hancock was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-5.
Turkeyfoot Valley Area got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Shyanne Schur out in front who scored 16 points along with 4 blocks. Another player making a difference was Kiley Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Hancock's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Turkeyfoot Valley Area, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hancock will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northern at 7:00 p.m. on December 18th. As for Turkeyfoot Valley Area, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Bishop Walsh at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th.
