Elk Grove and Prospect played the closest game in Mid-Suburban - East this week, with Elk Grove eventually emerging with a 3-0 victory. Adam O'Malley threw for 143 yards and ran for 24 yards during the win.
Rolling Meadows led the league in scoring this week after putting up 47 points on Buffalo Grove.
The Grenadiers' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Travon Royal chipped in 68 yards. Mike Bishoff helped Elk Grove's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 34 yards.

Elk Grove's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Grenadiers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. O'Malley has thrown for 2,221 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while John Pass has 39 catches for 839 yards. O'Malley also leads the league in rushing with 524 yards.
Wheeling made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,329 from 6,592. The improvement was largely due to a 37-29 victory over the Wildcats last week.
