If the West Feliciana Saints were feeling good off their 56-31 takedown of the East Feliciana Tigers last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. West Feliciana ended up on the wrong side of a tough 59-39 walloping at the hands of Woodlawn-B.R. on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for West Feliciana in their matchups with Woodlawn-B.R.: they've now lost four in a row.
Several Saints players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was SaMaria Berry, who scored 12 points. Arieonia Ebbs was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
West Feliciana's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Woodlawn-B.R., the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.
West Feliciana will be staying on the road on January 4, 2024 to face off against Windermere Prep at 1:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024. After both having extra time off, Woodlawn-B.R. and Glen Oaks will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
