The South Spencer Rebels and the Brownstown Central Braves will face off at 1:00 p.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
With a playoff game on the line, South Spencer rose to the challenge on Saturday. They managed a 38-33 win over the Wolfpack.
South Spencer got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Molly Schulte out in front who scored nine points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendalyn Shourds, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Brownstown Central didn't have too much trouble with Austin on the road on Saturday as they won 56-42. 56 seems to be a good number for Brownstown Central as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
South Spencer is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season. As for Brownstown Central, their win bumped their record up to 17-9.
