After two weeks on the road, New London is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Montezuma at 7:00 PM. New London have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Last Friday, New London put the finishing touches on their 7th blowout victory of the season. They were fully in charge, breezing past English Valleys 59-6.
Meanwhile, if Montezuma were riding high off their 74-0 takedown of Tri-County three weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Montezuma have to be aching after a bruising 12-46 loss to Iowa Valley.
New London's victory lifted them to 7-1 while Montezuma's defeat dropped them down to 2-6. New London have been dynamite on the offensive side of the ball, averaging 56.38 points per game. We'll see if Montezuma can find some way to disarm them.
