If the Butler Bulldogs were feeling good  off their  77-10 takedown of the Westside Patriots on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Butler took a hard  54-35 fall against Campbell on Saturday.
 Butler's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Karen Nimo, who  scored 15 points along with six  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brayla Harris, who  scored 11 points along with four  steals.
 Campbell's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Lauren Phillip, who  scored 11 points along with seven  rebounds and two  steals. That's the first time this season that  Phillip  grabbed two or more   steals.  Brooke Suttle was another key contributor,  scoring nine points along with seven  rebounds and four  steals.
 Butler's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Campbell, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
 Butler on the road again  on Saturday and play against Westside at 3:30  p.m.  on January 13th. Westside is coming into the  matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Campbell, they will face off against Greenforest at 9:30  a.m.  on Monday. Greenforest has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
