It was another big night for Stewart Brown, who went 12 for 16 from beyond the arc en route to 40 points and 4 assists for West Florida Baptist Academy. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Brown has scored all season. Shepard Brown was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Temple Baptist Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for West Florida Baptist Academy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-8.
Temple Baptist Academy will head out on the road to face off against Apostolic Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Apostolic Christian and three for Temple Baptist Academy. As for West Florida Baptist Academy, West Florida Baptist Academy and Pensacola Catholic will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Pensacola Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten last Friday.
