Wayne County extended the longest winning streak in 3A District 4 this week by beating East Jessamine, 31-14. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Cardinals.
Corbin took down Harlan 42-13 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Wayne County's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cardinals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tyler Guffey has thrown for 185 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Jason Perkins has two catches for 78 yards. Nathan Garner leads the league in rushing with 61 yards.
The Redhounds made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,409 from 6,639. The improvement came about via a 42-13 victory over the Green Dragons last week.
