The Kiefer Trojans will face off against the Dewar Dragons at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Kiefer has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Kiefer came out on top against Stigler on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Trojans skirted past the Panthers 6-5.
Ranson Stephens spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits.

On the hitting side, Trent Cantrell and Rhyder Stephens did most of the damage at the plate: Cantrell got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run, while Rhyder went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most hits Stephens has posted over his last five matchups.
Meanwhile, Dewar waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Bulldogs 9-1. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won 11 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Stoney Yaerger made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 11 batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Yaerger was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Ayden Been was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Braelin Lewis was another key player, earning two RBI and two runs.
Kiefer's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Dewar, their win bumped their record up to 19-2.
Thursday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Kiefer has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .435. However, it's not like Dewar struggles in that department as they've averaged .462. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
