Harvey was led to victory by Braylon Johnson and Chase Goines. Johnson dropped a double-double on 16 points and 19 rebounds, while Goines dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was Johnson's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Armani Hall, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Wickliffe's loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for Harvey, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Wickliffe will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Berkshire at 2:15 p.m. on January 6, 2024. Harvey will finish 2023 at home by hosting Chardon at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
