Columbia County Christian found their leader in underclassman Pierce Cughan, who scored 17 points along with six steals and five assists. Cughan has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Clay Farley, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three blocks.
Juniata Christian dropped their record down to 0-11 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Columbia County Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.
Juniata Christian will head out on the road to face off against Columbia Montour Vo-Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Columbia County Christian, they will be playing at home against Belleville Mennonite at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Columbia County Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Belleville Mennonite surely won't give up without a fight.
